This includes performance analysis, allowing you to monitor operators’ performance in your contracted network comprehensively. By going beyond trip operations, you can gain a detailed understanding of performance and make informed decisions to optimise contracted services effectively. Integration with EPM and third-party solutions ensures data consolidation for complete visibility of performance with standardised operator benchmarking to inform future procurement decisions, and enhancing the passenger experience within the community.

Bus operators are scored based on three key standards:

Reliability

  • Journey completed analysis – the percentage of journeys where all key stops in the timetable have been visited by the vehicle
  • Journey start time – the percentage of journeys where the trip started on time
  • Completed to specification – the percentage of journeys where the preferred or allowed alternative vehicles have been used

Driver

  • Driver related complaints and compliments
  • Driver training – the percentage of drivers that have completed required training sessions
  • Operator audits – the overall score of operator audits conducted by or on behalf of the transport authority
  • Driver telematics – the drivers overall safety scores

Vehicle

  • Vehicle inspections – the number of unactioned issues found during inspections
  • Engineering audits – the overall score of operator audits conducted by or on behalf of the transport authority

The platform provides an overview dashboard of the:

  • Worst performing operators – Operators who have achieved the lowest overall score and the difference since the last period’s score
  • Best performing operators – Operators who have achieved the highest overall score and the difference since the last period’s score
  • Most changed measures – the score that has changed the most for operators.

Operators will also have visibility of their own results.

The solution integrates seamlessly with our advanced Insights platform, providing access to in-depth advanced analytics. The drill-down reporting capability allows you to investigate the root cause of any identified issues and gain a deeper understanding of individual operator scores. By leveraging this integration, you can make data-driven decisions to improve operator performance across the network.
